W o r k shop for Pregnant & Postpartum Women (with baby in lap) preparing &/or processing your birth experience

Saturday, December 12, 2026 from 2:00 PM -4:30 PM Silvie Falschlunger & Tessa Catto

Located at Rising Earth Healing Arts in Wappinger Falls 2676 W Main Street, NY 12590

Birth is a deeply personal experience. While at the same time it is embedded in an evolutionary process. Looking from a wider perspective, the birth process is also wildly impactful for the collective.

How to understand & process that interwoven nature is hard to grasp with language alone.  How can we access deeper, more unconscious layers? What drives our understanding?  How can we find multidimensional perspectives, including the personal, medical, cultural, evolutionary sides? What lens is dominant?  What would benefit from a wider / different angel?

Join us for an exploration  Expressive arts will be our medium & starting point, initiated by guided prompts & quiet reflections. Shared perspectives, held with tenderness & in a non-judgmental way will lead us to new insights.

We provide art materials & prompts. No prior art making experience necessary, just a willingness to experiment & be curious.
